BATIK
Batik is a technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to whole cloth or cotton. These batik pieces have been made by drawing lines or dots of the resist with a spouted tool called a tjanting. They have been created alongside a memory project, whereby I have taken childhood memories and turned them (the thoughts, feelings, emotions and atmospheres) into architectural proposals.
